Mississauga office not responding to any request

Hi everyone,

I had my oath ceremony scheduled in early June. I emailed the office and said I can't complete my oath because of emergency travel. No email was replied at the time. So I showed up at my scheduled Zoom ceremony and talked to the officer, was told I can email the office after I'm back in Canada. I did after I had my trip done in mid-June, but still no email replied to my request. Is anyone having the same issue here?

Rescheduling can take its own sweet time. You can raise webform and attach the boarding pass saying you are back and ready to take oath. Webform request are reliable communication.

In the same situation - had to travel in April and not take an Oath ceremony, emailed when we were back with proof and nothing since. We are actually going away again end of July and when we are back will raise a webform and see what comes of it

Yeah, we also raised a webform and hoping someone will get back to us. fingers crossed for your case too!

Same situation, had to travel in February and missed our Oath. Shared proof of return when we got back and got the autoreply. I sent a webform inquiry once a month since and the only response i got was something along the lines of "keep monitoring your inbox and a new invite will be sent to you when it is rescheduled"

What does it say on your tracker for Ceremony status? For me it changed from In Progress to Not Started after one and half months of sending the email to Mississauga office upon my return to Canada.

The status of "Citizenship ceremony" has not changed, it is still "In progress" .
The "Application history" below it is still marked as "Scheduled for Citizenship oath" with the February ceremony date.

Finally oath scheduled for August 18, but no invitation email yet. Any idea how many days prior to the test we are receiving the emails. Only 7 days left for the ceremony. I don't think I'll get email over the weekend. So maybe I'll wait till Monday and then call up the helpline.

Congratulations! Hope you receive the email soon. May I know when was your first oath scheduled and how long did it take until you heard back about the rescheduled date?

So I had my first oath scheduled at the end of April. Then the strike happened. They rescheduled soon after at the end May but my travel was already planned. So I dropped them the email and got their standard reply to email them once I am back to Canada with boarding passes. I came back mid June and sent them email and raised webform mentioning that I am back to Canada. Didn't receive any email from them. Connected with helpdesk a couple of times they mentioned that your email/webform have been acknowledged so just wait for email/tracker update. I got tracker updated to "Not Started" at the end of July and now I got tracker updated to Oath scheduled few days back.

I hope that too. I think they are picking pace with ceremonies now. They should be looking at people who have been waiting long to prioritize them.

Everyone, I had my oath ceremony last Friday. it was on zoom. Now I am waiting for e-certificate to be available.
