Mississauga Citizenship Applicants

Yes Mine was the same and in September it got reversed - GTA-CEN IRCC is now primary and Mississauga is secondary

I applied for GCMS notes in October 2021, but i got them in January after more than 3 months ,,,in the meanwhile i got the decision made in november but for some reason "decision made" was not declared in the GCMS notes.....This is the worst experience by FAR with IRCC.

What a really F****ED up situation this - Feb 2021, Jun 2021 Applicants getting invited for oaths and ppl from 2019,2020 are still waiting....

Horrendous and so so pathetic !!! There is no excuse for this delay and nothing would actually calm down the anger of the ppl who have been waiting for oaths since a long time.. time for IRCC to wake up and reprioritize the entire set up.

I have been asking for Mississauga applicants to file a public petition to the House of Commons for a pause to all new applications till the backlog is cleared, but no one seems interested. Nothing may come out of the petition, but it will at least highlight that there is an issue which needs to be addressed. IRCC is happy to administer tests even if applicants are outside Canada! What is the big hurry for them? While those of us who have been in the system far longer are being penalized. Thanks to Covid, I am close to 2200 days in Canada; even if they disregard by first 1095 days, I would still qualify!

Certificate received today. Oath done on 24th Jan, file closed 25th Jan, certificate mailed Feb 7th, and certificate received Feb 10th.

Curious question - Was the certificate mailed via tracking number provided to you? Was it signature required?

Curious question - Was the certificate mailed via tracking number provided to you? Was it signature required?

Thanks.
No signature required. It was left in mailbox. No tracking number provided and I am sure that no tracking number existed for it because it was in regular mail. IRCC call center was telling me that my certificate was mailed next day after my oath (Jan 25) which was not true because my certificate was mailed on Feb 7.

No signature required. It was left in mailbox. No tracking number provided and I am sure that no tracking number existed for it because it was in regular mail.
