Mississauga Citizenship Applicants

Hey all! My citizenship application was received on Sep 10, 2019. On Mar 4, 2020, I did my citizenship test and I never got contacted by them after it. With the current Covid situation, I have been following the Application Status page and waiting forever. Based on what they say on this status page, I should have been contacted by them for my oath ceremony as my AOR was Sep 10. They say they are currently finalizing most applications received between September 15 and 21, 2019.

I don't really know what to do.

Any suggestions?

Note: I've asked multiple times for ATIP and no update since Mar 14, 2020.

This is very frustrating and disrespectful to my family.

Try contacting your MP because they most likely won't reply to you and even if they do it will be a generic reply.

I just sent an email to my MP. Let's see.

Yes. They do respond even thought it's a generic reply. But if you reply back to their email response then they do answer questions sometimes. even though, they won't give any useful information.

What’s the longest one has had to wait for oath after DM in Mississauga?

In 2015, I mailed the application for my 2 then-minor kids and myself on Feb 1st and our passports were on hand on 20th October. Not sure if it's COVID or sheer misfortune that is playing a role in the undue delay experienced by many on this forum.
