Same here. Passed the test on September 4th. No invite yet

By reading some of the recent message on this thread, it seems that in acmd's case, it took one month to receive the oath notice and another one month to attend the ceremony. Not bad to be honest:) Let's just hang in there!

Thank you!

You are absolutely right. There is nothing we could do now and we actually have completed most part of this long waiting:)

Hopefully we will receive the oath notice soon!
Yep..its like now I dont even bother checking anymore..if it comes it comes not gonna let this stress me out...almost done anyway.

my application is moved to Scarborough on Aug 17th from Mississauga and its been over a month now and no update yet.

Appreciate a reply friends. Thanks

I got oath invite today in Scarborough. Oath ceremony on October 11th.
Me too, I got oath letter October 11 in Scarborough,

I am Happy it is finished.

Hey. No body seems to be answering me on a seperate thread, since i am from missisauga id rather ask here!

I am canadian citizen by descent ( not naturalized) and both my children were born outside Canada.Hence i cannot pass on canadian citizenship to them.

I have sucessfully sponsored both my children and they have landed as PR in canada now.

I want to apply for their citizenship right away without any delay.

Since they have lived most of their life in a foriegn country the identity proofs that i have available with me are from the country they have been previously living in with me.One of my child is two and the other is seven years old.

These are the available identification proofs with me for both of my children :
1- immunization records (pakistan)
2- school records from pakistan
3-school id cards from pakistan which do have their photos.
4-passports
5-nadra bayforms

Should i get them notarized from pakistan and send them ?

Will these foriegn ids be accepted in theapplication ?

I think the reason you haven't heard on any other thread is that only a handful of people would have experience with this kind of situation. I personally think you don't need to get them notarized from Pakistan. Passport should be good enough proof of i.d.

Someone with more experience might have a better idea.

Should i include the passport twice.
Once for the document requirement and second as an id.
Is there any harm in sending the school ids etc ? Its good send more rather than less.. ??

Hi
One year has passed after receipt of my application in CIC but I have not received my test invite. . So I contacted then but received following reply. Is this a normal reply and how would I know whats happening?

"We verified the information you provided regarding the status of your citizenship application and have forwarded to the responsible office.

They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application"
