Mississauga Citizenship Applicants

I don't know how should I express my feeling with Mississauga office in dealing with my wife's Citizenship application.

It will be 12 months next week with no fucking test invite. Absolutely fuckin ridiculous!!!!

We had a travel plan in Europe and had to be cancelled because my wife did not get her renewal PR card on time. I applied three months ago and the idiots in Citizenship and Immigration line could not expedite because there was no status and was advised they are behind on processing renewal PR card. I called them thousand times and they are so fuckin robo- saying the same response. Why do they even work there? They should hire robot- govt can save tons of tax payers money.

Dutch consulate in Toronto refuse to provide visa as she does not have renewal PR.

I am out of $5,000 with air and hotel fare eventhough I booked the trip 7 months ago thinking she will get her citizenship before we travel.

It is so fucked up and its fucking unbelievable.

Hi Muhammad092, I can understand your feeling but trust me if your interview went well and your all other obligations are fulfilled you will soon see decision made and oath. Usually officers experiencing heavy workload that's why it takes longer time

On the bright side, I think there is money to be made from consulting with IRCC as a process/resource optimization specialist. Send in the 'consultants' lol and see everyone suddenly work faster!

they started processing my application on january 25 , 2018
recieved email for test . 14-Sep-2018

test date : 1-oct-2018

my question is do they call for fingerprints after the test ? How long does it take after we are done with the test .

Test was in Scarborough on August 21.

How long will it take for Oath invite / Date ? Any guess based on historic data.

Hi did you get your decision made? I am in the same conditon as you, the interview went fine, but everybody who had test before me and after me have decision made except me? Did you ask them why is it taking so late to update it to decision made?

Nope, still in process. The officer did say that everything looks good and to expect oath invite in October.
There’s nothing we can do anyway except wait

I think writing a test doesn't necessarily means the application is finalized. Some officers ask applicants to write their tests at early stages of processing.
If no decision made happened after writing a test then some part of application are not finalized yet.
