Mississauga Citizenship Applicants

Hi everyone, I'm new here

I'm from Toronto, but my file is in Mississauga. I have a question: Shall I expect any significant delays after DM? (e.g. scheduling Oath Ceremony) And how long it usually takes to wait? (e.g. from DM to Certificate)

I see several people from Toronto (October applicants) have dates for the Oath Ceremony in January - February 2022. Why is it?

From what I see in theses forums it takes 2-3 months from DM to scheduling the oath, and 1-6 months from scheduling the oath to the actual oath ceremony

September 2019 applicant here and it has more than 2 years already. Nothing updated since July 2021 and all I am waiting now is an OATH. It's kind of frustrated seeing others from 2020 got approved and done their journey. I am planing to contact my MP's office but not really know where and how to start? Any suggestion please?
I am in Erindale area station. is the MPs go by area or just like Peel region?

Same situation for me as well!! its more then two years, they requested to send addition documents copies of passport already send them 2 months ago but no update since then!!!! people applied in 2020 is done with their journey

I think you aren't that active in the forums.. some folks who applied in 2021 have also completed their journey. God knows when we will move on to the next step in our process.

I think IRCC is consciously trying to obscure their inefficiency. Rather than showing they are still working on old applications they are showing they have mix stats but this is really pissing me off BIG time.

MP will not do anything at all. Max. will update you about the same status which you can already see on the new tool and that too after taking 2-3 weeks of time.

This is extremely frustrating .... Still waiting for oath schedule since July end but no update so far ..... (Sept 2019 applicant)

Why 1-6 months after oath schedule ???????? What do they want from us ???????? This wait has become a NIGHTMARE seriously ...Already 2 years and still listening about months n months of wait .......................MISSISSAUGA office is not answering any kind of request now and stopped answering any updates too.

That's really frustrating. I am in the same boat.
I have applied in December 2019. My application returned in February 2020. As they required another language score for me.
I did my IELTS and send the file again.
From that day file come under March 2020.
Mississauga office, waiting for my Oath.

I think rather you are lucky. 2020 files are moving fine. if you had applied in 2018 or 2019 god bless you.

I submitted my application in August 2019 and received AOR in September 2019. Passed the exam on May 17, 2021. I checked the status of my application online and I have been scheduled for November 17, 2021. Is it tentative date? Because I need to reschedule it. Also, status doesn't show where is my application. Is it possible to bring my oath ceremoney forward?

I am not sure what is the issue why you are not able to attend. But if you try to move the date god help you. These guys are very very very bad with dates / or response. Who knows your oath may get pushed for months if not year.
