Hello All,

I have an allergy on my thumb finger which has been there for almost 2 years now, I tried all possible treatments but it just doesn't go away. It is present only on my left thumb finger, The problem is due to this allergy, my fingerprint doesn't read properly(in phone and iPad). Will this be a problem when I take my biometrics?

Hi there,
They will take whatever the fingerprints they can get. You should make a file of your medication and treatments. Also, get a medical certificate from any government hospital mentioning that your fingerprints are not proper whenever taken. You will only face issue when you try to enter or exit Canada or any other country having biometrics but if you will be having medical certificate then they will allow you after matching your Photograph in their record.

So you are saying while taking the biometrics there won't be any issue. But when I am trying to enter Canada, I better be prepared with some medical certificates? Am I right?

Thanks.
