Sorry to hear that Beautiful Heart, I feel your pain, it took me more than 2 mother to gather everything , some documents are hard to get again once lost. How can that happen ? I am sure none shredded it and there are no kids around. Talk to your MP and keep calling CIC, it happened to my friend, he waited 4 months only to hear that his application gone missing; when he contacted his MP they finally found it. Keep your finger crossed but don't forget to scratch your head thinking of reapplying. ??? ??? ???

1. As suggested, contact your local MP's office on Monday.

2. Prepare for the real possibility of having to submit everything again. Did you have any original documents that you had to provide (besides the PCC letter(s))?

If you DO have to re-submit, your MP should demand that you get expedited service. This could be a blessing in disguise, although it's hard to see that now.

same as ours,,know what beautifulheart we didnt knw our application has been lost almst 4years of waiting and we are waiting for nothing,, the imigration called my father feb 2016 to inform him that the application is lost that they are sory for what happen,,,so they told him that we need to submit again new app but the date 2012 of the 1st submision of application will remain and he dont nid to pay again.. we gather again the documents,fill up forms and submited by our father in misisauga april 2016 he got SA after 16days and letter that our app has been frwarded to MVO, MAY30 mvo recieved it and started procesing,,june2 aor2 and aditional docu but we didnt submit coz we have already given that in our application so we are waiting for another update on ecas,, its really hard for us but what can we do, we started again from the begining but atlist this time we know its in process

When you said CIC requested documents and you said you didn't submit them because they were already included... did you at least respond to tell them that the requested documents are already included in the application? If you simply did not respond to the request, that would be very bad because they might consider that you ignored request and reject your application.

yes i have emailed them right away after i received and read the email, and just received computer generated reply cnfrming my reply..
