on Behalf of my friend I am seeking an advise regarding below:
My friend applied for his citizenship from Calgary, after some time he moved to Saudi for work and updated his mailing address with an address in Toronto.
2 months ago, he came back to Calgary for his test , he passed his test and case officer asked his current address he gave an address of a friend in Calgary.
then he went back to Saudi next day.

some how my friend came to know today that there was an invite issued by CIC on 6th May for 26th May to the Calgary address which he gave to the case officer on the test day as current address (which is not his mailing address).

Now what are the options left?
does he still have 30days to reply to CIC with reasonable reason.

Yes - he has 30 days.

Yeah. he has 30 days and has to to explain why he lost the ceremony. Now, he should give CIC his new address in Saudi Arabia to not miss next appointment and also because it's where he resides.

He will contact call center on Monday morning. Is there any reasonable argument which he can put forward ?
what could be the worst case scenario? if CIC don't agree with his clarification.

Are you asking us to help him cheat the system.(-:
Because of liars like him, the bill c24 is issued.

+1, absolutely. I am so glad he got caught and hopefully they will reject his explanations and deny his application. He lied to the officers about his current address.

C24 and all these new rules come into play to catch these cheaters. Too bad it makes everything harder for honest applicants as well.

He needs to give a Canadian address. If he gives an address outside of Canada, he can expect CIC to give him an RQ rather than a new oath date.

NO,
He needs to give his Saudi address, let it be.

He is going to be one of the first who has to sign intent to reside with no intent to reside. Let us know how that goes.

So you want him to LIE, that's it?

Your moral and values will encourage for sure a lot of people in this forum to convert to Islam.

No, it's the old law that applies.
