My father-in-law wrote his letter supporting my CITIZENSHIP! And another good friend wrote a poem-like 2 pager more about our friendship than anything else and saying I lived there when I didn't really, I stayed for a month but I didn't check that down anywhere. My sister-in-law dated hers January 2009 when it was really 2010... I think it's very natural for friends and family to mix a few things up. And I think they will cross-reference, yes, but I think they will also understand a few human errors, especially by your family/friends who aren't going through the process themselves.

You and I are certainly not the first or the last. You will be just fine, I'm sure of it. And if you are questioned, you can say that it's natural and they just mixed a month up. All the best to you :)

what exactly did i say to u now that make u go mad?

The word 'mad' from your comment is a strong word to use against someone you don't even know, don't you think?

Don't worry it isn't a problem. Read ENF2 section 9.2 onwards (page 28) to fully understand misrepresentation. It can be found in the resources section of the cic website under publications. (sorry can't post link from my cell phone) and just ignore certain people on this forum the greater majority are here to share our experiences and help one another.

I have just read ENF 2..I am now worried too..

In 2006 I was in Canada and given an extension that I stupidly overstayed!! :-[ I was here for 15 months out of status! I was not deported or sent any kind of removal order..I left for 6 months of my own free will..I then returned and have maintained a valid status for over 18 months now..

On my application I stated that I lived in Canada on my list of Addresses, and that I remained in Canada on my explanation of our relationship..my dad also stated in his letter to CIC that my "visa expired" but I did not write the words "I was out of Status" and did not include a copy of my Visitors Record from that time....I that Misrepresentation?

When you left you were no longer in breach of the IRPA. The fact you werent deported or issued a removal order is the main determining factor. Technically you have overstayed the fact that you left, and in good faith acknowledge it goes a long way. The Type of misrepresentation they look for is the kind where it can effect the outcome of the application. So say you lived in another country for 6 months but you dont disclose it because you were convicted of lets say a DUI. Based on this information officer issues PR. Later they find this out. You misrepresented to get the PR so the PR becomes invalid. Read about how an officer assess's this, you made no efforts to conceal this fact. The fact that you DID leave and correct your status is a big thing here. If you hadnt done that the status issue would make the application problematic and youd be getting an interview about it.
