HI Anybody there,
I am charged of misrepresentation and inadmissible to Canada for two years, effective from the date of January 2014. Now, it is almost one year. Can I apply for Family Sponsorship now?? Or only after completing 2 years, I will be eligible to apply? Is the inadmissibility to Canada meant for ineligibility to apply for any visa??

Even the bullish suggestions and opinions would be taken for granted ;) 8)

Thanks in advance!

It applies to all visas.

Agreed. Your inadmissibility finding applies to all visas - including immigration visas. You need to wait until the 2 year period passes before applying.

Unfortunately, you are inadmissible to Canada for the full 2 years. When you get around to filing your sponsorship case make sure to disclose ALL of the information from your misrepresentation case and be prepared for a likely longer application process as they will want to go over all your details very closely to ensure you aren't misrepresenting yourself again.

Best of luck to you.

Thank you a ton for your kind suggestions!

Will you please share the story behind this charge? If you do not mind

Looking at the OP's posting history - it was misrepresentation in an economic immigration application.

Oh I just read the story... It is so sad and pathetic situation for the wife waiting for surgery in CA.

Yes, it was Federal Skilled Worker application but unfortunately all these mishaps happened.
