Guys I'm in the same position. My parents applied and its been more than 15 months, closer to two years

15 months and 12 days- still waiting to hear back. Additional docs in review since June last year. Anyone receiving visas please share complete timeline- this would help everyone waiting Thanks.

yes pretty much unrealistic as you can't plan anything, seems like a hold on all military related applications rather than a background check.

wow...this is insane...I don't know any other first world country has such ridiculous visitor visa processing time....

Applied Feb 2024 and still nothing. Just an ADR for military records in May but thats it.

current processing times are between 1-2 year (after ADR)

I have applied for my father’s visitor visa in December 2023 . He us retired police officer and still processing the background check.
