If your consultant does not know about the strike, then it implies your consultant is ignorant about any recent developments.
I agree that everyone should be positive and it is just a matter of time before you see light at the end of the tunnel.

My consultant got letter from CIC which said that all VO's on strike since 11 JUNE and its still going on when it will be closed then again he would be intimated by the CIC by an email.
BUt.yesterday they got 2 student visa means even now during stike period then have been issuing student/visitor visa's.Then why not PR cases is it only immigration officers have gone on strike . :-X :-\

officers on certain ranking who are eligible under PAFSO for pay equity and who hold rights to make decision on pr file are on rotation strike hence the delay in PR Processing
