i was so demoralised and depressed since long time so i have'nt checked my status frm last 4daysnot since now .i was just logged to this forum 24 hours and just waiting for the turn for nov 2012leftouts ,as feb 2012 cases whr getting dm i was lil hopefull that my turn will cumafter thm,and i'l chk my case status only when one of fourm member of nov batch medicals done will start geting dm thn onlyi'l chk my status as it was so depressing to see it inprocess every time.since last time i.e 4days back when i last checked my status thr was not even medical received line was not added to my ecasei dont knw whtr it has neen updated now boz even now i hvnt chkd my ecasecoming to the point finally today i received a call they said they are calling frm canadian high commission then she said that ur name on passport is not having sir name is that ok and the she said that ur medical is expiring on 17 novwill u be able to reach canada before that ,and finally she said if every thing will be ok in ur case we will call u on monday make sure u are available to reciev our call ,i said ok and then again i received a call after 2hours they asked me when i can come to collect to my passport .i requested them not to send my passport thru post they said other option u have is to collect ur passport frm ndvo. this is the whole story. god just showered his blessings on me

Dear bops22 I am so happy for you...
Another good news is on of ma friend called his friend who took medicals in nov 12 & he got call from ndvo today and asked wether he can travel before dec 1st week. .. which means ndvo started to look into our files...nov 2012 fellow mates have something to cheer up...

I can only say it as Fantastic, Fabulous, Outrageous, Stupendous!!!! All the pain you have gone thru in waiting for almost 1 yr since first medicals culminated in a unique but scintillating climax which you can cherish for many more days to come!

First I couldnt believe it when you mentioned that you got a call from NDVO. But this is just amazing buddy.........Lucky Oye, Oye Lucky!

Very Very Happy for you....this is a proof that NDVO officials are indeed working very fast on all the pending cases and not relaxing after their partial win in the strike. God Bless them all, for at least they are working at a stupendous speed now giving priority to all the cases alike without showing much partiality - unlike our government folks.

Enjoy your call from NDVO for now and Wish you Good luck......don't forget to update us your experiences of collecting the PPs & COPR....

Same thing had happened with me, my hubby had a friend working in NDVO, so he called us and said to my hubby to collect visa stamped passport from NDVO. But my hubby said No, so they couriered us passport.

But after we received our passport duly visa stamped (we all 4 people, me my Hubby and my 2 daughters), we found that visa was not stamped on passport of my hubby so we called our friend, he said: Passport vapis NDVO office bhej do, so we sent back our passport. Now my hubby's visa awaited.

Buddy, I am of course an Indian, will be an Indian, no one need to have doubts about it. And, I dont need to prove to anyone that I am an Indian.
Just by appreciating some good one of the foreigners or making a simple comment on our government's working style I will not become a desh drohi!!!!!!!!!! I am only comparing our work style with theirs. I will be a desh drohi if I talk badly about my motherland in a discussion with foreigners. Here I am talking to a fellow Indian, this doesnt amount to Desh droh!

And, you forgot to realise that you are applying for their visa, to land in their country and to work and live and settle there???????? this is just surprising! Everyone knows what our country is going thru at this point of time - what is the level of corruption, how many scams are taking place. Over and above all this - first explain me why are you trying to go to Canada on the first hand? while applying you didn't remember that you are an Indian, you didnt remember the Vande mataram song? you didnt knew that you should stay back in this home land and serve it?

You are from Hyd, like me - you compare your own government with theirs! How the politics are being played out by everyone to divide the state for no cause but for only political mileage. Teach this Vandemataram to our politicians if you dare to, not to me please!

Last but not the least, this forum is being run professionally and we are all here to be professional and motivating for others. IF you forgot I agreed openly here that I badmouthed them for going on strike and delaying our visas. But later, after some introspection and putting ourselves in their shoes, I realised that they have their cause while we have ours. So I corrected my mistake and tried to be rationale in my thinking.

My sincere request is not to malign or pin point anyone but if possible please try to motivate others by consoling them, for they are all waiting since years for a +ve outcome of their cases. If that is not possible, let us keep our mouth shut and be mute spectators, Amen!!!
