Today I complete 6 months from when my Passports were sent to NDVO!!!

I also competed 6 months on 7th Jan since passports sent to NDVO. Don't understand what was the reason for asking for medicals and passports so early if there was no quota for 2012 and priority for MI1 was not there.....I guess few MI1 members are waiting for more than 8 months...

Only 3 applicants in this forum has changed their e-cas into "Decision Made" after medicals in Jan-12.

MI-1 process chilled like the present climate....

Lets hope for the best.

I send medicals on 7th July and no medical received line line added till date there are many MI-1's who are in same situation.

I AM MI1 AND MY IN PROCESS DATE IS 24-JAN-2012, WE SUBMITTED OUR FILE JAN 2010. WE HAVE DONE MEDICALS IN JULY 2012 AND SENT TO NDVO ALONG WITH RPRF/PCC/PASSPORTS.
THEY ASKED FOR PHOTOGRAPHS BECAUSE MY SON OLD PHOTOGRAPH IS TOO OLD HE WAS 6 MONTHS AT THAT TIME THAT'S WHY, FOR VISA ISSUANCE THEY ASKED FOR PHOTOGRAPHS. I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU GUYS.

HOPE EVERY THING WILL REMAIN FINE AND WE WILL GET THE PASSPORTS BACK ALONG WITH VISA IN THIS MONTH.

Your son was six months old in July 2012? I mean you might have already submitted the latest photographs when you did medicals in July 2012. Usually new photograph is required if it is more than three years old....

My son was 6 months old when we applied for PR in Canada and his photo on passport is old. Now my son is 3 and half year old. that's why they asked new photographs.
