How one can get to know if the DD is encashed or Not

DD encashed means that everything is allright and it is then time to get the PP with Visa right

For DD encashment, ask your banker. He'll tell.

Regarding your second query, NDVO encashes all RPRF fees as soon as they receive it. Background checks are still going on. So nothing is certain till you get the VISA in your hand.

if i use to write the same as in my initial application, the new format of imm0008 does not support,in imm0008 form filling family name is compulsory. in initial app. i wrote name in given name coloumn.

You can try 1 of the following 2 methods:

1. Try typing a blank space in the surname column and taking a print.

2. You can put a 'full stop' in the surname column and then give the print command.

My consultant has sent letter to release landing paper but no response from CIC till date.

Meanwhile, I received another medical request on 08-NOV-2012. Just wondering why another medicals within 5 months ???? Any similar cases ????
