hey Vanky,
After how long did they encash you're DD. I sent my pp separately & all the other stuff in another package on the 24th of July. Howvere, they haven't encahed my DD as yet & no new updates on the cic website.

We received your application for permanent residence on xxxxx, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on xxxxx, 2011 to My address. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact us.

but i did not got my passport back yet!! i am worried...is there any reason to worry...plz suggest sernior....or anyone case like mine...

i am also a MI1 applicant and had done my medical on 1 july 2012, and send the PP on 11 July 2012. DD was debited but still no response from NDVo.

I had also done my medical and send the PP, also recd. the brochure of CIIP but not register yet. Is CIIP conducting a session in chandigarh? Do let me know if yes then w will meet there.

Search for CIIP Canada( canada govt funded agency to help newcomers, still in their home country) and register with them with your information, usually they do this two day seminar in New Delhi and most of people at last stage of visa process got invitation letter and we have to take appointment to reserve our seat in seminar , now they are doing this in Chandigarh on 21st august, i think its good for Punjabies, i encourage you and all members to take part in this seminar, rest all is upto you frnds, do your best

Something very strange happened today... I received a registered post from NDVO, Was very excited and was anticipating my PP with magic sticker. However, they sent my RPRF draft back, saying that the draft was not computer generated. How weird is that? Shouldn't they be just concerned with the fee being paid in full. Draft computerised or not, how does that matter. I have got a new one made today only and sent to NDVO. Very disappointed.. It must have delayed my processing ! (
