Hi All,

I got meds request on 24/1/13. Do we need to send PP now itself? I see that it is taking avg 3-4 months to get PP stamped with visa after DM. So, in that case can I send PP after DM and when requested PP? Please advise.

As far as I could recall, urs is the second which has been called for POF by VO.Could u please clarify if there is any change in ur family constitution since after submission of ur initial application ? If yes,then only it could be the reason which prompted VO to reconfirm POF.Otherwise,I wonder as to why it was required in the event of ur file may have passed SELDEC ND PSDEC etc.
Please do write back to help others ,who are waiting for their visa stamped PPT, to REASSESS their status. Thanx.

I am wondering too why they asked for POF now after medicals. There is no change my family constitution. Same amount of members as at the time of initial application. I understand that in my initial application when I submitted the POF in 2010, the exchange rate was less and now that the exchange rate is higher for CAD, they wanted an updated POF. Though I was expecting this as my CAIPS notes of Feb 2012, it was mentioned: ECU Request for Updated Proof of funds. Then they sent me the medicals but did not ask for Updated POF at that time. Now after submitting medicals and additional medicals of my daughter, they are asking for updated POF. They gave me 30 days to provide this informaiton.

Can anyone tell me what is the exchange rate that I need to calculate the CAD to INR.

Sir/Madam,
in caips i had in April 12,there was a notation ,"POF-Please reconfirm" nd in the one I obtained in Oct 12,prior to MR letter, it was marked as "OK". As such, in the MR letter also, it was not asked for.The CAIPS i had in the first week of Jan 2013, it still showed "OK" .
Strange is the way VO works.
Any ways,please note that conversion rate of INR/CAD is 53.40.

My friends who did medicals with me already got their PP back but I'm still waiting....
It's so frustrating.....
