My medicals received at ottawa Aug 8, 2012. I don't see the line "Medical received" in my status.

Wanted to share one info I came across. I was going thru the thread of 2013 FSWC wannabe applicants. Some of them have written that next year, every visa office will also have application quota. In MI-2 and MI-3 more than 50% of applications have gone from India and Pakistan and since there is first come first serve basis, people from other countries could not get thru because of the application CAP.

In order to have an even distribution, within the overall cap of applications, every VISA office will also have a cap. Does anyone else out here have any idea about the same?

If that happens, we shall have the advantage. It is because of large number of pending applications from MI-2 and MI-3 from NDVO that we are at a loss right now

It absolutely makes sense. i am not sure if thats true but, that would be the right and fair approach.

Hello guys,
I have submitted my pp on 7th sep 12 to NDVO, and med is done on 28 aug and in ecas I can see the update "medical result received" but did any one of u recived the pp back with visa. Any idea wht are they doing holding our pp. is there any other way to find out whts happening,

Jishnu, there are people that have sent their passports back in March and still waiting for the passports to be returned with visa. Apparently, NDVO is focussing on clearing the MI-2 & 3 queue. The word is, they will start MI-1 by the end of the year. In fact, that's what their email said back in June. It clearly said even though they are processing our application, decision may not be taken until the end of 2012 or even after that. So, patience is the clue here.

Waiting for PRPF and passport request.
I see the mostly of applicant receive the request for MR and PRPF on the same time .
In my case the Visa Office haven't ask me for the PRPF.
Is this a problem ?
