If you have tried up-front medicals, by this time you would seen the results in the ECAS whether it has been received or not. It won't harm you other then financially.

Yes brother, I agreed it is not for FSW.Dr. Wahab will also say the same thing. However, we have incidents in the FSW2014 forum that a few did upfront medicals and it is being well-accepted. As it apparently seems SGVO is non-responsive to the query made, it could be an alternative you can consider it. If you want to do it, Lina/IOM cannot deny the service.

Once your medical exam has been completed, the doctor will give you a document confirming that you underwent a medical exam. You must include a copy of that document with your application.

Congratulation brother. Yes, it is normal. For 2nd line update, no email is sent.

Next you will get MR or MR+RPRF or MR+RPRF+passport request. Sometime they asked for revise POF and recent PCC.

Best of luck

Dear Experienced Brothers,

Need your kind advice.

Mine & my wife's passports are valid upto May 2016. Now if we move to Canada (inshallah) with those passports, is it OK?

After how many days we will be entitled for Canadian passports?

My childrens passports are valid upto July 15. So I need to reissue their passports. No way. Allah saved me, suddenly I noticed my children's passports validity
.

IMPORTANT NOTES about Visa and Passport validity:

You should ensure that everyone in your family has a passport valid for a minimum of 12 months from the date of the most recent full medical examination. Visas can only be issued to a maximum validity of 12 months from the date of your most recent Immigration Medical Examination (IME) assessment. If your family has medical examinations on different dates, the validity of your visas will be 12 months from the date of the first assessment.

If any one of your passports will expire before 12 months from the date of the medical examination, your visas will expire on the date of the first passport to expire. If your passports will expire soon, it is in your interest to obtain new or updated passports to ensure your visas are issued with maximum validity.
