Hello Guys, Hope this brings good news for all of us.

I sent query to CIC as follows today

"Enquiry: Dear Sir/Madam Good Day. I have applied on December 2011 and it is 29 months running. E-case status showing as "In Process" since February 2012. I want to know current status of my application and what is the expected date of next update. As per processing timeline of Singapore visa office applicant, it is 28 months require to process each files. Please update on the current status of my application. "

And surprisingly received instant reply as follows

"Dear Sir,

Thank you for your inquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in Singapore.


Your application is currently in a queue awaiting final review.

Files in the Federal Skilled Worker category are processed in order of receipt, based on the date on which the complete application and fee payment were received in our office. Once the file has been reviewed, we will contact the applicant directly to advise the result of the final review and/or any next steps in the processing of the application. If your address or contact information changes during processing, you must inform this office in writing."

So.................... let's hope for the best. Alhamdulillah.

You and me have same timeline and almost same category. I sent query earlier twice but they did not reply. This is my first reply. Well, some other got reply earlier as "waiting for initial reply". So, at least that state passed. Now it is actually 99% confirmed that we are having MR soon, may be delayed but inshallah no risk there.

Thanks for ur update... One thing I m not clear what is initial review n what is final review.
Any of this forum members have any idea regarding this? file is waiting for final review, how come u r 99% sure that there is no risk? Any clues?
