It would be very very unusual initiative, and might led to unnecessary complexity. Just to share, my colleague (he had been senior lecturer at that time), tried to influence Indian Immigration officers for faster processing for his visit visa to meet his wife at Ahmadabad, and eventually they retained the passport for 3 months and finally rejected without showing any reason. While any Jodu modu, gets Indian visa in 21 days, its guaranteed. So, I think its better to be common, in such cases, otherwise things go worse. Your friend applied knowing that it will take 22-30 months to process, now why is he so eager? Why some Canadian MP would be kindly perusing for someone, out of 100 thousands of applications? Why on earth we think they will act like Bangladeshi MPs'? Is it so necessary? Then ask your friend to have the letter from the prime minister of Canada, it might be obviously be the fastest. (He can further endorse it from our prime minister or home ministry to make it even more authentic, its worth trying, you never know!!!) Best of luck for your friend.............

From our thread we got 3 news & from Auvo. Then what actually SGVO doing? When will they give us BIG surprize? 2014?? Very few MI-3 applications are left. How long it will take to complete? Really.......bad.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ISSUE DATE OF YOUR DD SHOULD NOT BE MORE THAN 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIVING YOUR FILE BY CIC.

IF IT CROSS 30 DAYS RE-ISSUE THE DD AND SEND IT TO CIC WITH YOUR FILE.

Munna Bhai, statistics almost similar with MI-3. We r around 160 with no status. Feel afraid when think if VO consider us for 2014.

Well don't be too much worried as mi3 files are being worked on by AUVO officers. I think in batches svo is sending files and now mi3 batch is running. Somedays they're issuing MR and somedays others from mi3 are getting IP with date..So have faith..Inshallah your process will be over soon.
