I wish I knew abt IOM. Br. Please share how much per ticket..i bought one for turkish airline on March..and how many luggages they are offering? Can I take help from IOM every time next i bought ticket? Did u pay cash or credit card? Thanks.

Guys, for the cheapest air fare, try Saudia. USD666 for adult from Dhaka to Toronto if you travel in May-June. IOM also cheap but they have only Emirates and Turkish.

For child 5+, it is BDT 53650/=
They allow 02 baggage per ticket [23x2=46 Kg]

As far as I am concerned, IOM offers this opportunity during first landing [I am not 100% sure]

I got tickets from IOM only Tk. 249280.00 for four persons (two adult, two children)

They offered me the Emirates airlines, if I took from Saudi it will cost only Tk. 220000.00. But I don't want to take any risk, I think Emirates is better than Saudi.

Bangladesh Bank has raised the cash entitlement to $5,000​

Bangladesh Bank (BB) has raised the cash entitlement to $5,000 from previous $3,000 for travelling abroad, reports BSS. The central bank in a circular yesterday asked all the authorised dealers to issue outbound Bangladeshi citizen cash foreign currency amounting up to $5,000 per person per trip against their annual travel quota. The non-resident Bangladeshi and the foreigners will also get the similar amount of cash US dollars against their related bank accounts, the circular said.

BB in April last year enhanced private travel entitlement to $12,000 per adult passenger during a calendar year, with up to $5,000 or equivalent for travel to SAARC member countries and Myanmar and up to $ 7,000 or equivalent for travel to other countries. For minors below 12 years in age, the applicable quota is half the amount admissible for adults.

Today was the last day for withdrawing my 2014 FSW application from CPC-Ottawa VO (they have given 30 days option to withdraw my wife's file, since they got her another file in progress on SG). My wife has emailed to CPC-O to withdraw 2014 file today .... They have already replied that they are going to refund my processing fee...
