Hey you guys I just got PPR rn. Here's two questions:
1) What VAC fees do I need to pay?
2) Husband and I currently live in the US. However the letter is asking for us to provide the Canadian address we intend to live in. But we don't have that yet, as we will be looking for a place to live. Do we just explain that to them or is a Canadian address a must?

Hubby landed oct 12 all went well. 16 months in total. Patience, prayers to everyone going this is immigration process.
16 months ?!? .. ugh... glad for you that is over but i really hope things to be done before it

Congrats!! That is so exciting. How long did it take to go through customs at the airport? Through Toronto?
Best wishing getting settled in. Just in time for winter ;)

yay!!

all the good vibes we put out this morning worked!!! So happy for your family!!!!!

Gosh, everything just seems to be on pause, can't recall the last time I heard someone say " just got PPR ! ".....has anyone else received DM in ecas lately or even pre-arrival ? Exactly one month left for me and nothing as yet.....thinking about ordering notes soon.

vleurgat got their PPR just shy of 13 months. I also know a couple that got pre-arrival just a few weeks before 12 months mark currently waiting for PPR. So far it's kind of looking like a month between Pre-arrival and PPR.

As far as I have seen for Mexico in some cases looks like 13 months is the earliest. Let's hope it stays this way or speeds up!!

We all gonna be over the 12 months , is a sure thing. I don't really believe that when we get transferred we'll be passed right away super fast. in the next days...

We'll be at 9-10 months already so and on queue of all the others that are late yet.

In my case i prepare my wife for March-April 2020 not before.

Hi everybody, quick question. With only 28 days left to hit the 12 months ( Nov 13th ) Is it worth it to send an email to request for an update or is it better to wait until we reach the 12 months? Thank you for your input and hope we all get to see our spouse in Canada very soon. Keep the faith! All the best for all of us.

it takes 5 to 10 days for the VO to responds (when they do...) i guess waiting a lil bit more is not such a big deal if you are at the vo already

My husband application has 37 days left and to be honest I did email yesterday the worst they can say is still in timeline. I say no harm in asking :)

The harm is that if they take time to answer emails from people who haven’t even reached 12 months it leaves less time to actually work on all the files that have passed 14-16 months.

I can appreciate that but we all have a right to know what is going on, and it does state you may not receive an answer so I am sorry if it offends you that I want to know about my husband file, and I am sure answering my email is not the true reason for backlog that is a matter of an over worked office. But I accept all criticism

Don't let anyone making you feel bad on requesting updates. Is part of the process and is normal to do so. even more when you are at sooo close of the 12 months. We all having life to prepare and decisions to take based on it.
