I added my self to the Mexico spreadsheet a while back where it says add under the red line and it will organized into the spreadsheet but that was a couple weeks ago and nothing has happened. Just wondering if that is still being done or if I should go ahead and add myself into the spreadsheet? TIA

Hi All. I ended up sending an email to Mexico VO a couple weeks ago requesting a confirmation of receipt for the 3 additional documents they requested in August.

Here is the email response I received today:
“We acknowledge receipt of the documents you have recently submitted. Your file is in queue for interview. At the moment, there is no need for further action on your part. Our office will contact you should we require additional documents or information. Thank you for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.”

Any thoughts on this? Does this mean that we will need an interview for sure? Ugh.

the message is clear about Interview , you can order GCMS notes to figure out the reason for the interview .
did you link your App. TO MyCIC ? if so do you see Interview required ?

Been waiting now 14 weeks since we sent in our Police Check to Mexico city and still no passport request. We are desperate to be in Canada to enjoy the christmas holidays with our family so now we are going to rely on applying for the ETA come December 1st. Does anyone know reasons you could be denied an ETA? Any information on this subject would be appreciated! Thank you

My wife is doing the same. She will attempt to be here around Dec 15 for few weeks before returning back to Mexico. If COPR reaches her before she comes here under ETA, she must land as a permenant resident. As far as your question goes:

Yeah this thread has been quiet in the last couple of days! I want all of you to get PPR now, so that they can start working on our file! Haha! File was transferred on Oct 25th and no word since then.

No news here...

Background check is In Progress since August 30th. Sent requested RCMP police check mid-September, was declared lost by the post recently.
Sending back a updated police check by express mail this week.

We sent an electronic version in the end of September, but I think they just consider paper originals.

Lets hope once they receive it we will have PPR....and PPR for everyone soon too!

My husband sent his passport to Mexico VO last Wednesday Nov 9, I don't know how long does it take for they to return it, but we are praying he can come soon.
I'm going to visit on December 2 and returning Dec 10, I hope he can come with me
Mexico VO has been a little slow lately... I hope we all get goods news soon

Hello I'm new in this process, I learning how to used this ;D, I've reading past posts and I've been learning a lot but right now I'm a little confused because I just summited my application on October 20, i got AOR1 on October 24 and since then I have not be able to link my application to my online account :-[ , today I got an email asking for police certificate, (I don't know if it is the same as PGR certificate), I don't know how good or bad it is, any thoughts??
