We applied by August 2015, I was approved as a sponsor on Oct-2015, AOR 1 Feb 2016, AOR2 May 2016.

We are on the same boat! Wish everyone got AOR2 in May gets PPR this month.

Just curious, why did they send you AOR1 after SA?

Quick question...this week I checked online the status of application and from "in process" it says "decision made". I'm assuming this is about being approved as sponsor Aug. 23 since I received an email saying I was approved as sponsor and my file was being sent to Mexico City.

What happens next once file is received in Mexico City? Interview? When will they request ARC (because this will be required for us).

Thanks!

They have done a mass update on Sponsor Side to reflect the correct status. On PA side it shows still as "in process". One file reaches Mexico City, you would receive AOR2 ( Acknowledgement of Receipt ) from Mexico City, with new UCI number.

ARC/Interview etc will be done after AOR2.

Thank you so much for info!!! Truly appreciate it!!! If within the 4-6 week time frame by early mid October I should hopefully receive the AOR2!

Thanks again!

Could anyone give me the link to the spreadsheet about the Mexico office?

We are just about to submit our application for my husband from Guatemala and would like an idea of what time frame we are looking at :)

Thanks!

Are you living in Guate with him? Looks like you've been waiting a while for PR.. did you encounter any bumps in the road at all?

No, he there by himself. I am in Canada with our two little daughters. Everything is normal I guess, just the processing time is getting longer lately. We got AOR2 on May 3, and so far so quiet.

All December&January applicants, how are you guys?? Anyone has received anything? It's been so quiet here!

Yes Capin, Mexico will become a Visa free country. I hope all applicants from Guatemala get to finish their process soon.... Patience and optimism are key.....

PPR TODAY!

GOD IS PERFECT

Congratulations FPEESH!

Would you be so kind as to update your timeline in the Mexico timeline spreadsheet regarding submission of your passport, so that others who apply from Nicaragua will have an idea how long it takes to get the passport back.

TX!

Speedy Processing!

Hey guys! Just wanted to chime in and offer my 2 cents. My wife and I are in pretty much the same position as Capin and (exact same position) Beto77. We applied last August and received the PGR in May. We have heard *nothing* since then. We just requested our notes as well through our lawyer. It does seem like the MCVO has put a hold of issuing PPR's since ~May. What the hell, this kinda sucks! I wonder what is going on there. Anyways, we're not in a really terrible position since she is living with me here in Canada, but it would be nice for her to be able to get PR!

We're all in this together though :) I'll update as soon as the PPR comes through or they send the notes.

Cheers
Shane
