Capin, can you please provide some more date information so that I can get you added chronologically into the spreadsheet. Thanks!

Good Morning everyone.

I just wanted to tell you about my interview experience.

We got to the Embassy around 8:20 AM

The officer called my Boyfriend Around 8:35 AM

He was in there for 30 min (felt like 1 hr.)

The Officer ask him: his personal information

Then he ask him about my daughter (date of birth, name, what grade she is in, where she was born)

The officer asked how we met, how we communicate when we are not together.

He asked where I work?

He asked him who the people in the pictures were.

He asked him why I’m still not divorce, why did it take so long for me to file for divorce.

Than he called Me., I was in there for 5 min.

He asked me how we met, who introduced us, why I’m still not divorce.

He asked me when we moved in together. I said august 2013 and the officer said “your boyfriend told me 2014”? I said no it was 2013.

Than he told me to go get my boyfriend.

He said everything is good your application is approved. (Best part of the interview)

He reviewed our FBI Clarence and police records and said my boyfriend needs to redo his medical exams since they are expired.
He said he would send a letter in 3 weeks to redo medicals and then an email asking for the passport.

I check our medicals and they are good till July 18, 2016 I was wondering if anyone has had this experience with medicals??
I was thinking about sending an Email letting them know they are good for another month and that my boyfriend will be able to travel before they expire. I have a surgery coming up in the next couple of weeks and I need my boyfriend to be here for the surgery.
Can someone give me some guidance regarding this; would it be a bad idea to let them know about my surgery and why I need my boyfriend to get here ASAP??

Im thinking they think he won't be able to arrive in Canada until after July 18, if they need to do any other checks. Add three weeks from date of interview, plus time for sending documents back and fourth, they know it won't be enough time for him to land in Canada, and the medical needs to be valid for landing!

This thread is very quiet. Are 2016 Mexico applicants tracking using Mexico Tracker or are you using 2016 Outland application tracker? I see only handful of application in 2016 for Mexico City. Request everyone to update the tracker if you havent done so.

Hey All!

So on May 13th we received the request from the Canadian embassy to provide the "Federal Police Certificate issued by Procuraduría General de la República (PGR)" and the Right of Permanent Residence Fees. We got everything together (photos, fingerprints) and sent it off express. It was accepted on the 20th in Mexico.

I'm just wondering, what is the timeline we can expect from here? It says on the letter that we only have 60 days to provide the Police Certificate. I'm worried because I've heard it can take up to three months.

Also, is there anything we should be expecting now? Would they have already requested an interview or could one happen? We applied back in August 2015 so I think we're doing pretty good time-wise no?

Thanks!
Shane

Hi ,
How did you manage to get the PGR Police Certificate so fast? they told my wife it will take 10 days and then they will mail to her .

you have already send the requested documents you should not worry about the 60 days anymore .

I think you are very close to a PPR , I doubt there will be any interview , Have they requested any additional proof of relationship from you ?

Good luck

Hey guys! Its been a while since the last time I posted something. Well I have some update. As some of you know my case was delayed because of a mistake in a form. About a 1 month ago I received and email from the officer in charge of my case requesting a day to call me to confirm certain information... When she called it was a very nice lady, she asked me the things she needed to know and then told me "We are at the end of your case and everything looks fine". Of course my wife and me couldnt be happier. Now its been 3 weeks from that call and nothing had happened. I forgot to ask her if I have to redo my medicals as they are expired since january, actually I should have asked many things lol. So this is my update, she didnt say anything about interview or anything else. What do you think about this? Does anyone has had this experience?

A shout out to anyone in the Calgary/Alberta area who would like to attend our 2nd Immigration Friends Fiesta Latina (IFFL). It's next Saturday, June 4th at my and my wife's house in Cayley, Alberta, just south of Calgary. You are welcome to arrive any time after 4pm.

I'd like to get a head count for the carne asada that we are going to do. Right now we have about 10 people coming, and there is room for lots more. The weather looks like it's going to be caliente, digo caloroso.

It would be nice to meet some of you from countries other than Mexico.

Any inland applicants out there in this area??? Or are you waiting for your spouse/SO to come to Canada. Come out and met others who have gone through the experience! It was a lot of fun at our last one and this one should be no different.

Anyone interested in attending pm me and I will give you our address!
