Why would RCMP certificate process would be relevant for PGR validity?

No, expired certificates won't be accepted.

The embassy wants everything sent together , if RCMP take longer than 30 days to send me the certificate the PGR will be expired .

Seems like the closer we get to the end. The slower time seems to go by .I'm a March 2015 applicant and Ijust want to pull my hair out. Lol
Bit of background, my husband applied to sponsor me on March 11, 2015. Got approved to sponsor me on July 6, 2015 and my file was transferred to MVO. On January 18, 2016 they requested new medical, police reckons for Venezuela , right of permanent residence fee, and CSQ(Quebec), and 60 days to send it. Which we sent. On April 9, 2016 they emailed asking for ARC fee and letter(authorization to return to Canada), and removal expenses and gave us 60 days again to send it. We sent it the it on May 22, 2016. Now back to the waiting game. Seems like MVO takes about a month to process ARC based on a different forum I'm following, and once that's approved next step should be PPR so I'm excited but still anxious. Fingers crossed all goes well and FAST!!!!

you should be getting PPR soon Estefania220, We are March 2015 applicants... we had our interview on May 10, 2016 and 3 weeks later we got PPR. The passport was received on June 2, 2016 and we are back to the waiting game.

I've been looking at the Mexico Spreadsheet and is between 7-21 days with an average of 15 days ...
