Yes that is correct

Awesome.Thabk you Valeescu.the reason why I'm asking is cause we haven't received an AOR2 as of yet but we would like to apply for a TRV. Will that affect our file in anyways for I don't get approved?

Did you tell them you were together for the 9 months? Did you send pictures in of your time together for those 9 months? Do you have any Facebook posts that would show messages, pictures of the 2 of you together? Did you send various letters from family and friends on both sides that your relationship is genuine and continuing??

Don't be too worried, in the worst case they may ask you for an interview, which is not the end of the world. If your relationship is genuine then it should be easy to prove in an interview. You can also present more physical evidence at interview time. You should be continuing to accumulate evidences of your genuine and continuing relationship in case you need to present additional evidence.

You should order your GMCS notes to see what they say and if they indicate a potential problem with your application.
Thanks CANZANILLO! about GMCS notes, Can I order them at anytime during the process? and how long does it take to release them?

Hi, The Goverment of Canada announced that it will remove the visit visa requirements for Mexicans (follow link below). I don't know when that will be in effect. It may not be soon enought to favor you, but it is good news anyway.

I don't now the answer to your question, but so far when the permanent residence is approved they automatically give you a visitor's visa, and they request the passport to stamp it on it. Of course, if you are planning to visit Canada before your PR is approved that won't help you.

Oh wauw that's awesome news, but I'm not Mexican I am Honduran. So in other words if I don't get approved for a Visitors visa our PR application will get delayed?

Hey Guys, I am a little worry. I was asked for schedule A and Txt messages or phone calls (we didnt send any at the moment of application because we were most of last year together in Canada and in my country, so we spent around 9 months together last year) for that reason we thought The travel tickets and other evidence were enough, well in November they asked us for txt messages or phone calls and the schedule A (as I did a mistake), we sent them both at the end of November but we still have no answer. My wife sent an email to Mexico in the fisrt week of January and they said our file was on queue to review. So It Is almost February and I see many applicant from April and even May receiving news, but it seems we are stuck, it gets me worry and makes me think maybe something is not right, we are thinking on write another e-mail to them.
Does Anyone has had a similar case?

Don't be too worried, I think once they ask for documents, they return you to the "pile", they may not have seen it again, but it must be soon! When did you have your medicals??

What: Immigration Friends Fiesta Latina

Who: Current and ex members of Mexico forum on canadavisa.com as well as members from Facebook Mexi-Can spouses

When: Friday Feb 12th, 7:00pm - 12 midnight, Dinner at 8pm

Where: 140 Douglas Woods Grove SE, Calgary

Details: POT LUCK, DE TRAJE, preference would be a regional dish typical of where you lived in Latin America (Can you image how tasty this could be????) We don’t want EVERYBODY bringing Guacamole right? I was thinking that your dish should be enough to feed (at least) four people so that there is plenty of food for everyone, including those who don’t have time to prepare something but still want to come. BTW, if you know that you have a winner of a dish that you know EVERYBODY is going to love and devour, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring a BIG dish!! ;)

Beverages - BYOB (Bring your own beverages/refrescos, etc.) alcohol in a reasonable quantity because I don’t want anyone drinking and driving and to respect the house where the event will be.

This will be informal, social evening to enjoy good food, put faces to the names and make some new friends.

Abuelita! Hope to see you there! Lorrein?? Fabibeach?? Tishness?? Don't miss this! Should be fun meeting everyone!!

You're welcome! Yes, any time but best to wait 3 to 4 months after AOR2 so that your file has a chance to mature, as it were, otherwise there will not be meaningful information in the notes.

I take 30 to receive the notes normally, though they can take even longer.

Speedy Processing!

Hey guys! We recieved my husbands passport back today!! Thank God! This process is finally over!! Thanks to everyone who has helped me out! Thanks CANzanillo! Now for the landing part :P
