That's awesome Canzanillo, I want to request the notes too, just out of curiosity. We also sent the Facebook pages and Instagram, twitter, etc all printed out lol but I thought they didn't take it into account anyway..

If CIC Miss just sent it to Mexico in December you need to be more patient. The average time from SA (Sponsorship Approval) to AOR2 (Acknowledgement of receipt from Mexico VO) is 80 days. Relax, it'll be there in due course ;)

It sounds like you didn't receive an stage 1 AOR letter and just received the Spousal Approval (SA) email (on July 6) telling you the file was being transferred to the Mexico Visa Office. No big deal as far as the spreadsheet is concerned.

What date did they request the additional documentation?? Did you get an email from the Embassy of Canada in Mexico city after Sept 29 requesting the additional documents?

I will move your timeline into the main spreadsheet.

Speedy Processing!

Well see I initially sent all the documents on 4/21/2015, CIC returned the app for missing some docs on 5/1/2015, I completed that step and sent again, then from there I received the email saying CIC received the app on 6/2/2015 and that confirmed that it was received by CIC and that is when CIC gave our UCI # & app # as well... on 7/6/2015 CIC sent an email saying my spouse met all the requirements to be a sponsor and that our app was sent to MCVO for further processing.... On 9/29/2015 an email was received from MCVO saying that a file was created with the app number above and that we must quote this app number in any future correspondence....12/21/2015 was when we recived the email from MEX. asking for the FBI CERTS, PERMANENT RESIDENCE FEES, & CSQ....

I hope I made it better with some details and I also hope we are not missing anything.

Please let us know and thank you.

Your timeline is awesome.. So that makes you a May or June applicant? If they are asking for you to pay the permanent resident landing fee is cause they are going to approve your visa..

Indeed I am a May applicant ;)

I did forget to mention that I just now logged in to check the status of our app and it did say that the AOR was sent on 12/21/2015 along with the request of those 3 things and that on the same day (12/21/2015) our app started being processed .... now what my head is spinning about is the fact that I am not sure if this AOR is the 2nd one (which I am sure it is) or the 1st one (which I doubt) ANDDD the fact that it said "APP STARTED BEING PROCESSED ON 12/21/2015" does that mean 17 months from the day I applied or from this 12/21/2015 date ?? :-[ :-[ :-[

And I sure hope to God that we do get approved !!

Ok thought so.. The AOR you received was most definitely AOR2. Processing times are now 17 months starting from the day you apply that includes the 2 months sponsor assessment as well.. It's just give an idea on how much times is expected to process an app.. Your a May applicant so right now your around your 8 month.

Congrats luna!! How long did it take to get the passport back? Ours arrived there the 18th... I want it to come back now!! :P

We received our PGR request today ;D and an updated Schedule A (from 18 years of age) and a copy of my husbands military service card (I sure hope he still has it).

Yippiii... I see the light at the end of.... maybe February?

For you who have send in the Mexican Federal Police Certificate, is this issued in Spanish? It says we need to get it translated. It says a certified translation - does this mean just a certified translator or does it have to be notarized?

It also says we need to mail it to the address Miguel de Cervantes but I think I have heard people emailing this information.??

There is no mention of an interview, does this mean it's waived or perhaps will still be requested?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated :D

Speedy processing everyone!
