Hang in there you are almost done, though I know that in our case i didn't want to start making hard travel plans until we had the passport and a "correct"

OK folks. I want to share this link to a google spreadsheet with you all. Perhaps some of you have already seen it.

It is information from ex forum member Eagle333, who had provided some excellent help and information in his posts regarding how to interpret your GMCS notes. Member Chilkootcee has compiled the documents into this spreadsheet format as a legacy resource from Eagle333 who has departed the forums permanently. The "GMCS Note Explained" spreadsheet is a work in progress, building on Eagle333's original post. Anyone can edit the spreadsheet with information from their own notes to improve the database of information in it.

It also provides information on how to order GMCS notes, when to order notes (it serves no purpose to order them too early or too often), as well as information on the background checks that CIC may do when processing your application and general application review steps.

CANzanillo GMCS Notes Comments;

As promised I found a few interesting things in our GMCS notes that I had ordered on Nov 16th and received Dec 16/2015 and thought I'd share with everyone.

These are my interpretations of the notes and definitely not official.

1. Application appears to have been "untouched for 4 months after transfer to MCVO 04/21/2015 to 08/11/2015.
2. Error on "Conditional"?? Should be No not Yes. They put conditional on my wife's CoPR despite us having been married for more than 2 years at time of application.
3. Eligibility decided on Oct 01, 2016 (page 7 of 37)
4. As of 11/19/2015 neither security nor criminality were started. More than 6 weeks from "eligibility passed" status change. (Though it is possible that some criminality and security checks may be done despite the "not started" status).
5. Open source searches were done on both of us - Google/Facebook!!
6. Info Sharing (page 12 of 37) 03/20/2015!!. Partner: USA Status: NRT (No Reportable Trace)
7. Add. Docs requested 09/14/2015 couriered on 10/07/2015, rec'd at embassy 10/08/2015, acknowledged as rec'd in GMCS notes on 10/14/2015. Exactly the 30 days from request and due date.
8. Eligibility status changed from "not started" to "in progress" on 09/15/2015 and from "in progress" to "Passed" on 10/02/2015
9. ACTIVITY 2 - 09/15/2015 says Eligibility status changed to "Recommend Pass"
10. It appears that some "security" checks "May" have been done early in the SA process (03/20/2015) for the PA: ACTIVITY 12 says Activity type: Biographic - status - Sent - Partner then "Submit", then "Submit - Delayed".

Case summary: Despite a great age difference, PA and SPR's relationship is acknowledged and accepted by friends and family from both; they appear natural in photos and there is ample evidence on file about their time spent together, including but not limited to, trips, messages, outings, etc. Couple has been together now for over 4 years now and their relationship appears to be genuine. No concerns. Recommendation: interview waiver.

I'd like to post the entire notes but it's 37 pages and it would require a lot of editing. These were the things that jumped out at me.

Once they get processing your application it gets done fairly quickly, less than 4 months in our case Aug 11th to Dec 6 or 7th PPR.

Yes I'm hoping to get it done by the end of next month, before medicals expire!!! I don't want to re do them as I'm going to Canada now!

I think 6-8 months from SA is realistic for a routine application.

Omg that's discouraging 9 months wauw.no wonder our AOR2 is taking forever. 6 months would be perfect..We need and hope we can have the visa approved late May or early June.. Yeah we need positive news.. So far we know they are working on April applicants. We need updates from May applicants and onwards. Come on MCVO give us some good news..

We have a ton of proof to show, since it's been 13 months since we sunmitted our application. Sooo much has happened since then. We are so happy to finally have a date, only downside is my husband has been here on a visitor visa since December, I don't want him to leave lol

The interview is being held in Santo Domingo, we were advised by the Mexico VO that they were waiting for a date that an agent can travel to Dominican Republic to conduct the interviews. FINALLY!
