I'm not sure when you should expect AOR2.. our process has been "unpredictable".
Our application was originally being handled by the visa office in Santo Domingo, we recieved AOR2 from Santo Domingo one week after we got SA. But a few months later, all Dominican applications were transferred to the Mexico Visa Office. So our situation has been quite an adventure!

Oh ok.. Oh wow you got caught up in that. Your processing time was looking good if you got AOR2 that fast, by now y'all would be in Canada if it stayed in Santo Domingo..but I'm happy you guys are almost at the end of the tunnel... Thanks for the help..

my husband is prepared and very confident!
We have a ton of proof to show, since it's been 13 months since we sunmitted our application. Sooo much has happened since then. We are so happy to finally have a date, only downside is my husband has been here on a visitor visa since December, I don't want him to leave lol

Anybody have dm as their application status? Or is that once they stamp the passport with the visa?

That is usually when visa and CoPR are issued.

Speedy Processing!

Calyn19, gambrinus777! Calling Calyn19 and gambrinus777!!

Have you landed?? Please update us with your status and your timeline. Last news was passport requests from Nov 2015.

We would appreciate it!

To everyone who has landed recently or will be landing in the future!

Consider spending the $5 to request your GMCS notes once you have received your PR card. It is fun and interesting to read the notes they have made regarding your applications and gives insights as to their timelines for the 4 stages of approvals (eligibility, medical, criminality and security).

It's cheap entertainment after having gone through this arduous and often exasperating process!

When I have a little more time I still intend to post some comments about our application notes...

Speedy Processing!

SA was received and now my status on my E-CAS says Permanent Residence Application Status In Process Finally even though i still don't have a third line when i click but it's moving along!! Can't wait to have more news about it!! I wonder how long it will take since CIC time frames change all the time.

IMO it is not very wise to give more work to an already busy office just for fun.

Hi CANzinillo,
You know the 4 stages that you are talking about (eligibility, medical, criminality and security)....What are they looking for when it comes to the security Stage?
I assume the Eligibility stage is about the Canadian being ELIGIBLE to sponsor...or not?
The MEDICAL is that it was completed and submitted and they are healthy?
CRIMINALITY is if they have been convicted before or charged?
and SECURITY???? What would that be? Would you know?

I am a Mid-April Applicant and I know they requested more details about my husbands Address and Work history from age 18 to the date we last gave them. Instead of going back 10 years they seem to have wanted all the way to 18. Which was fine, it was emailed to them beginning of December (same day asked) and they notified me of receiving the document back in December. We are in the "In Process" stage since November 10, 2015. I pray it won't be much longer.
