I wouldn't get too hung up on the 18 month timeline. Routine applications have been taking between 8 to 10 months including sponsorship approval. The 18 month processing time represents how long it takes to complete 80% of the applications received. 50% are completed in 12 months. Complicated/incomplete applications can take longer than 18 months. Mexico was 17 months most of 2015.

Oh ok that sounds much better hehe.. They can keep up that 8 to 10 months processing time. We would all love and appreciate that.. ... Thanks for breaking it down CANzanillo... How was your holidays im Canada or should I say at HOME

Hi guys!! I did my landing couple hours ago. At Billy bishop airport. It was very easy and fast. Technically they didn't ask me anything.. The whole landing process took about 8 mn. . Finally I can breath I'm officially a PR ;D ...

Best of luck everyone! And thank God for this forum! Wouldn't make it without this.

So we are now into business again. Please take 1 week off your calculations, as it was a dead week.

Happy 2016.

Hello CanHonduras!

We were not required to fill out any forms other than the B4/B4A importation forms. My wife answered a few questions and the CBSA officer filled out the information required to request her PR card. Easy Peasy! Of course his passport with the visa and the CoPR documents or he won't be allowed into Canada. ;)

Congratulations!

Our spreadsheet illustrating ongoing approvals and timelines is the best measure of the MCVO processing time performance. I doubt very much that the timelines will change significantly over the coming months.

The Christmas holidays spent with family were very nice. The cold has been somewhat of a difficult adjustment for both of us as it is very hot in Manzanillo all year round. Not that we are more relaxed and "decompressing" from the last few months stresses I think we are both coming down with colds :'( :-\ :-[ :-X

Oh well, We are in Canada right?? lol

Personally, I think it's an error. It's showing the same as inland processing time. Outland has always been quicker than inland processing. Not to worry I say.
