ohhh god even I have got exactly same reply...
Whats wrong with them? I have already asked for 2 extenssion from new delhi. How long to wait?
Please let me know once you get any update.

Thanks

Will do. My VO gave me 30 days to comply and I explained the situation to them asking for an extension too. I guess they wanted to verify that I wasn't making it up so my VO got in touch with the Canadian embassy in Mexico and they told them something completely different, saying that the procedures to obtain police checks for non-residents are under review and that basically they;re not doing anything with the requests. I'll call tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Hey guys..
Help help help!!!!!

Can anybody help me regarding mexico police clearance?
I am outside mexico. I have send my fingerprints to canadian embassy mexico city on February 6th 2015.

They have forward same to mexico police authorities, since then I have not received mexico pcc, how long will it take.

I have send 2 emails to canadian embassy and they replied saying this will take 60 business days..

It will be 60 business days next week. I am really worried.

1How long normally takes for this pcc for non residents?

2How will canadian embassy forward my result to new delhi visa office.?

Any input appreciated
Thanks

They don't send you the police certificate - they forward the results of it to the visa office that's handling your case.

I'm also out of Mexico and I had to send my fingerprints to the embassy in Mexico to get my police certificate. In my case they never notified me when they received it. I was able to find out that they took a month to get it when I ordered my GCMS notes but I have heard it's not uncommon for it to take 2 months. Plus I hear they may be changing their procedures for ordering police certificates for non-residents.

I would forward the response from the embassy in Mexico regarding your police certificate to the visa office that is handling your case if/when you have to ask for an extension.

Hey jack thanks for the response.
I have already forwarded the response from embassy to visa office. Its been 3 months now, I am worried.
Do you have any contacts of agents there who can help me out with this case? Or Is there any other way to get it?

Anyone can process it and pick it up for you with a power of attorney (see http://www.pgr.gob.mx/Servicios/Constancia/antecedentes%20registrales.asp). You will need a formal government issued request letter, though, which CIC normally issues. You may also be able to get one from the Embassy of Mexico covering the region where you currently live (e.g., the Embassies and Consulates of Mexico in Canada issue them and the PoAs too).

Can someone help me out?

I got divorced and now I am married to a Canadian citizen, we are gathering all the necessary documents for the sponsorship and now we are in the process of document translation but I have a question, do I need the divorce decree translated and certified or would be enough with the divorce certificate?

Please help!!!! thanks!

Just an update on this. I have spoken with someone at the PGR and was told they cannot give any information on the progress of PCC requests for non-residents handled by the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City, because the embassy "doesn't give them a file number". They would only be able to track a PCC request if you had applied for it in person. So basically, it's just wait and see. The number is +52 55 53 46 00 00 in case you want to try and see if they tell you the same thing or not (they only speak Spanish).

Thanks for your response and number. Unfortunately I am not fluent with spanish. We can just wait. All the best for your further process buddy.

PASSPORT REQUEST TODAY!!!!!!!! And no interview request so we don't have to go to Mexico for that!

Finally!!!!! It looks like they extended my medicals for a full extra year - according to my GCMS notes they were valid up until April 1st of this year but the PPR letter states that I have to land by April 29, 2016. Incidentally, today is just 3 days after our 2nd wedding anniversary so this is a great gift!!!

Playa08, I hope you hear from the VO soon as it looks there is finally some movement!

I'm so happy I don't make any sense at all!!

Hi everyone, not avery happy day for me as I received mail today asking me for fee payment to get ARC and aletter explaining why i should be allowed bak into Canada.
I was 99% positive i wouldnt need an ARC as i left on time, or so I thought, I aways reported myself to immigration and i bought my own plane ticket. I left canadain december 2009 so may years have gone now and today i got the surprise i have to ask for ARC. I wonder how much time will this put on my application. Really im getting too frustrated. Anybody experienced same? Could it be that VO is wrong and I didnt need an ARC? Pls comment.

hello everyone we got an email from mexico to send my wife's passport. It took them 3 months since last correspondence to go for medical exams and pay residence fee :) her visa will be valid till jan 2016. so 9 months from the start

Congrats guys!

We are still waiting for the passport to come back. I sent an inquiry last week and received a message on Monday saying that I can check my tracking number "in a few days" and now it's Friday at 2:30 and the tracking number still hasn't been activated so I'm not impressed. Monday will be 4 weeks from the date they received it. Stupid how the last step takes the longest and is the most frustrating.

Hopefully we see some movement next week. I had wanted to buy some plane tickets by now but I guess we just keep waiting.

Congratulations Guille! Do you care to share your complete timelines in the spreadsheet for the benefit of everyone here to compare the data??

You can carefully enter it or I can enter it for you...
