Hey guys!
I am very confused right now. I just received a request for additional documents:

IRB Decision: Please provide the IRB reasons for decision and order (full document, including the conclusion)

I submitted a refugee claim, PRRA and humanitarian application and they all got denied. Does any one know exactly what they are requesting? Any assistance would be grateful!

You need to submit all the decisions from IRB (or the latest one if it encompasses the previous ones too) if you don't have them anymore you can contact IRB (http://www.irb.gc.ca/Pages/default.aspx) and they'll be able to provide you copies of those documents :)

Hi!

does anyone know whether the PR card is also issued once the permanent residence application is approved?
does the Mexico office send it with the passport?

You will receive your PR card about 6 weeks after landing in Canada.

Thank you for your quick answer :)
IRB only gave me one decision though. The other 2 came from CIC. Are they not different?

Hi guys, Quick update,

Its been crazy week, i got finally a response from the embassy, was basic that it was confirm were in the spousal category, and i have to be their on the 26th.

I landed in Mexico today from the US, and going to print out my chat logs, pictures and such. Going to miss my family in the US, 10 year penalty sucks.

If they asked for the IRB decision I would only submit that :)

A year today since we applied :( and counting...
Hope everyone else is luckier.

Hello guys , my cousin applied in family class since July 2012, and after 3 months her file got transfer to visa office in Mexico City , just 1 month ago they sent her request for fingerprints . Question about the ARC , is it better for her to send arc + $400 fee upfront ? Without they hadn't request for it ?
And how do you guys know when your ARC gets approved ? Thanks for your help !

You have to wait until they ask for it.

Thanks a lot ,although she has a chance that they don't request arc , bcuz she got departure order and left before the 30 day period , doesn't she ?

Hi,
I sent an email to the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City for a police certificate (pgr) a week ago, and i'm suppose to " wait for instructions". Does anyone know how long its going to be until I get a response from them? Or what the instructions are ? I want to get this done as fast asap and hate just waiting....

Assuming you live in Mexico, the Embassy will send you a request letter for you to go to the PGR to get the police certificate. You take that original to the PGR (they require an official government request letter to process a police certificate), along with photos, etc. They will process and take your fingerprints (may be in a different building, depending on where you go). You return 10 days later to pick up the police certificate (sometimes it's faster) and send it to the Embassy.

You can speed it up by sending a prepaid courier waybill to the Embassy so they can send you the request letter via courier vs. regular mail.

Take a look at http://www.pgr.gob.mx/Servicios/Constancia/antecedentes%20registrales.asp for additional details.
