No worries my friend, you will hear from your VO soon..!

You should be close to the end, as in the next step after the ARC should be your Passport request for the visa...!! :)

Hi SONICAITLIN.

If your medicals expired on September 16 you might have to redo it again or the Immigration officer might ask for an extension on your medical.

My only suggestion for you is to wait for your VO to request for it.

Regards,

William

wow that's great for you! We don't have an MP, we're doing the process by ourselves from Panama. My husband is French-Panamanian and we applied for him as French. I guess I just have to wait. Will let you know when things move. Thanks

If you are Canadian you have an MP (member of parliament) who represents you in the area where you will be living in Canada. I'm Mexican so I don't know exactly how to contact them but you could find some answers in the forum.
If your husban is not Mexican the process is different, you have to be patient till they contact you because it may take longer, but the good news is next time they do it can be the end of your application. A girl whose husband is from El Salvador didn't hear from them in 6 months next thing she knew the guy got his visa :)

My husband received his AOR and document request from Mexico City on November 15. He received his PGR request letter today. Things are moving! I'm praying so hard that the interview is waived and that he will be here soon.

OMG... Finally... The decision came through!!!!! We've just received our Passport Request! Canada, here we come! Btw, our medicals were going to expire on January 4th, but in the letter they sent us they gave us an extension automatically until February 21. I'm so happy! We have two weeks to send the passport, and they will send it back within 1-2 weeks. Check Under my name for my timeline :) :)

Send them an email to follow-up on your application. Our e-cas said similar info; they started processing our application on September 16, 2013. Today we received a call from the Canadian Embassy in Mexico asking us why we didn't send our passport yet. We were confused because we hadn't receive the actual passport request by email. So it looks like the email never got to us. The Canadian Embassy then sent us a new email today, and that was it! We're almost done now!
