Yeah when i came there an had to put my husbands "address" in the application i was like Cic is not gonna believe this lol. for the locals its fine but for non locals its very hard because theyre not familiar with local "landmarks". Thats why Dhl stopped doing deliveries. When you are expecting something you have to go pick it up in the capital city and the prepaid airway bill can be only paid for in the capital. So my husband has to go on a 6 hr bus ride back and forth to get a prepaid airway bill its crazYLeisaP said:I just read how they do addresses in CR, lol. that kind of made me chuckle.
Interesting choice. I guess if they are small cities with places that have been there forever it would be easy to remember for the locals since nothing changes.

woah!! that sounds like such a pain! but I mean I don't blame DHL. its probably frustrating to try and deliver things to approximate addresses lol.costacro said:Yeah when i came there an had to put my husbands "address" in the application i was like Cic is not gonna believe this lol. for the locals its fine but for non locals its very hard because theyre not familiar with local "landmarks". Costacro already did that.. But so far is only two of us.. Costaricans don't generally fancy colder climates and (I guess) very few would consider Canada as their "dream destination" ..nzk0 said:don't mean to be harsh but this thread is about Mexico, not Costa Rica. I think it would be better if you guys made a Cosa Rica thread
I agree with that,IanCR said:Costacro already did that.. But so far is only two of us.. Costaricans don't generally fancy colder climates and (I guess) very few would consider Canada as their "dream destination" ..
