my partner- who lives in Mexico needs to get "way bill "since it never arrived in mail (i think thats normal) The question is:

what do you include in it ? Just ask for the PGR letter ? Im assuming this ' way bill ' is like registered mail ? How long does it take to get the letter ? Embassy states, the complete package needs to arrive within 60 days. Im getting very nervous-once again ! Thanks in advance :-\

Hi! I just wanted to update you with my news. My husband just went to his interview in Mexico City. Long story short, at the end of the interview the woman who interviewed him said that she okayed his interview and will put it thru as positive but he will have to wait up to 2 months to receive the letter with the final decision....Has this ever happened to any one else?

this is normal 8)

60 days gives you plenty of time..from when they receive the waybill it usually takes them 5 days to send it back to you plus one or 2 days before dhl delivers it back to you, PGR takes usually 10 days, sometimes even less and I've never heard anyone saying it took longer, then sending it back should be another 2 or 3 days tops...so 21 days in total

after how many months? i thought you told me only takes 2 months to get the ppr after the pcc

15 months since we first sent it

usually its around there, but we had to apply for an arc, which usually takes about 2 months, but our arc took longer cuz they needed an rcmp clearance and they needed court documents to prove the charges were dropped on a case back in 2009.

hoping someone can help with airway bill. (PGR)

My partner who is in Mexico is trying to send airway bill to Embassy but they say (DHL) they cant do it becasue they need some kind of 10 digit number. When he calls the Embassy, they dont know anything about this. I will tell him to make sure he is speaking to the Immigration section.

Other than that- can anyone shed some light on this. Maybe there is another company - other than DHL.

Also- what do you put in the airway bill ? Do you write a letter asking for PGR ? or do they know automatically ?

So stressful !!!!

Thanks in advance !

Please find enclosed a prepaid waybill to be used for the purpose of sending the PGR Letter."

Bring this letter to the DHL office and request to send this letter along with a prepaid return waybill to the embassy. You will have to pay double the shipping as you have to pay to ship the item there and pay for another waybill to be included inside the envelope. Make sure you are clear that the first waybill is to send the item to the embassy but the second waybill is to be used to return a shippmet to you. Dhl will input your information into their computer and print the appropriate waybills. Make sure to tell them you want your file number typed beside your name on the waybill being used to send to document to the embassy. DHL provided us with the envelop for shipping the letter and the waybill.

Once the envelope arrives at the embassy they will then ship the PGR letter to you by using the waybill you provided. The embassy will attach the waybill to their own envelop.

You will have to do this process again once you receive your Passport Request.

This is what mrs Cruz told me ..... !!

thanks for the claification. Did they ask you for some kind of account number (10 digit) ? They (DHL) say they cant do anything without it. so confused. I put in a call to my Imm consultants here and hope to get this sorted out as soon as possible- so stressful !
