Yeah. But the canadian officers are pretty good and our system is alot more welcoming than many other countries, so just have faith! :)
But after u get approved youll be so happy and itll just be a distant memory, ull forget all about being worried over it lol. :)
So we just gotta stay positive! And dont think about the negative stuff.

My wife and step-son just had their medicals and they were perfect. One thing that concerns me, however, is that the doctor in the city where she had the medicals done (Ciudad Juarez) didn't give them two IMM-1017B receipts. Instead, she gave them two receipts that show "eMedical" on the receipts along with a website address of www.emedical.immi.gov.au on it. Why would an AUSTRALIAN website be on their medical receipts for immigrating to CANADA? The doctor claimed that roughly a week ago the necessary receipts had changed.

Yeah they will ask for an interview or more evidence before denying you.
ive seen people get approved with very little evidence, its all about quality not quantity.
if you were looking at your evidence as a complete stranger, does it seem sufficient for you to believe the relationship is true?
if yes. you have nothing to worry about

Yes I will believe it , we been dating since grade 11 and we been in a long distance relationship for over a year since I came back to Mexico , we just don´t want them to refuse our application & also we were worried we probably didnt send enough evidence. thank you so much for your help :)

The arc is dealt with, within the application. So after they received our redo medical and poolice checks. They changed our status to in process and emailed us a letter asking for the arc with all the details

Do we know what hours the immigration section in Mexico city works? I remember one fellow on here getting his ppr request around 3:30. I just wonder at what time I should stop checking my email like a mad woman lol

I think its something like 9-430. But u can look on the canadian embassy in mexico city's website and it will tell u the hours and also the days they get off for vacation.

And by vacation. I meant holidays lol

when i used my info they told me. you are not the applicant so we cant release any info to you.
so i had to send another email using my spouses info instead and from his email since thats the one they had on file.

i dunno why they do that though.

Thanks for the info.

Hmmm, I contacted them about a week ago... gonna wait a bit longer to see how they respond.

Hey! Ya u willl still need an arc. Another guy that used to be on here and is already landed in canada. He was in canada as a rufgee under age aswell and went back to mexico underage. They still asked him for an arc even though his parents were the one that took him there as refugee. But his arc only took 2 months to process so thats good!

Does the ARC necessarily add two months to the process or can it be processing in parallel with the Embassy processing other stuff? In other words, do they stop doing anything as soon as they ask for your ARC or do they keep things moving in the mean time?

You should try to chill out a bit.. check it once a day and remember this can be a long process. You want to keep hope up and not get burnt out, right?

As for the ARC they finish processing the application first, so they complete the relationship evidence, criminality, medical etc. when that is all approved, they will ask you for the arc at the very end. so everything else is completed before they even ask for the arc.

so in other words yes it pretty much does add 2 months on top of processing everything else.

but one of our friends went through mexico city and her arc was approved in 2 weeks!! thats the fastest ive seen. most of the other ones are 2 months. and very few go longer than 2 months

and i Agree with Bttml
you should relax, if you overthink it and worry all day you will drive yourself crazy!
ive been in this process for 14 months now, and i would have gone crazy right now if i didnt really try to be patient and let the process takes its course as its suppose to.

you and your husband will both go crazy, so just try to relax and check it once a day.

I have my husbands email forwarded to mine so if we get anything i will receive the email on my phone, it relieves alot of stress always going online to see if anyhting as come. if something does ill know right away on my phone :P

Hey everyone! Just wondering if there a limit on how big your application can be? I have over 100 pages of chat records... And what kind of envelope should I use? I'd like to send as much proof as I can!

Thanks!
