I have been trying not too

Try not to worry - yes, it can take quite some time after they receive the PGR.

Trying not too.. Just recently it seems like people have been getting PPR a week after they submitted the PGR so I am wondering (but trying hard not to) if there may be something wrong with our file..as in did they lose something, etc. Sigh, immigration is giving me grey hairs!! lol.

I know it's really hard not to stress and you're probably like u sshhh u got your PPR lol but the embassy works in mysterious ways, going back you can see it can take up to a month to receive PPR after the PGR, I'm sure your file is ok.

If you're really worried request your notes to see maybe that will give you some piece of mind althought that takes 30 days too... this sucks for you, I really hope u hear something soon. I set my mind that we weren't going to hear anything until the middle of Oct and that really helped otherwise I woulda gone insane ... hang in there!

Yeah I am hoping you and tbaxter just had a stroke of luck haha, I know there is nothing wrong with our file (this i'm confident in) so I guess ill just have to sit and patiently wait. My MIL is 100% sure she put in a cover letter as well and I know there is no criminal record so who knows, lol. Compared to other cases 30 days seem to be the norm. I'm going to give it two more weeks or so and then request CAIPS I guess to see whats going on.

Maybe its because we applied common-law? I haven't seen a common-law timeline in a while, your right though, the embassy does work in mysterious ways!! lol

Hey guys!! Good news, we just received the papers from refugee board for my spouse. It took them 2 to get them and about 7 days to send them :D
Anyways we have them now. So next week we will send in the arc with the fee and all that stuff! Such a relief :P

Hang in there MC, its probably because it was sent from Canada as oppose to being dropped at the embassy in DF, plus they have just taken on other south american offices so perhaps things are slowing down bit. I certainly understand, I am having an impatient day myself and miss my man so much it hurts, but we are all on the right track and soon enough it will all be over, seems things are moving fairly quickly and I dont think any of us will be in the 12 month frame like the website says. So keep your head up, it will be real soon I am sure :)
