She should have enough point, but the only thing is that her son(2 years old) was born with a partially formed heart. He has had several heart surgeries. He will have his final one in a month or so. Will this preclude him from being accepted into Canada? She and her husband are in perfect health.
It depends on what level of support he will need going forward (if any, given that he is having his 'final surgery') and the plan to get him that care. If he won't need significant social services support going forward then he should not be in admissible. They would need to supply details of his history to the DMP when they apply and I would suggest getting a cover letter from the paediatrician summarizing the case history and treatment plan.
