She's doing well and optimistic about the process. Just taking a bit of a forum break right now until there's some big news to share.canadiangirl78 said:Anyone heard from mrsromero?
Never heard of Bachillerato or Preparatoria online programs for Mexico. We have a Ceneval, which is an exam based on everything taught in High school. You have to be older than 21 years old to take it and it has the equivalence of a Mexican High School diploma.Americana In T.O. said:Hello good people! I just wanted to give another update. My hubby found a job on his 4th day here in Canada! We were very surprised and happy about that. He is still adjusting to life here. Although he lived in the States before moving here, it is quite different because there are very few Spanish speakers so he has had to adjust to the language. He is taking English classes as well (2 times per week).
Does anyone know how easy it would be to complete a bachillerato online for Mexico? My hubby did not finish high school and does not have a GED. He took the GED test in the States (he passed 3 out of 5 tests). In the States, they let you take the GED test in English or Spanish. We don't think his English would be up to par to take the GED in English here in Canada especially when he already had trouble taking the test in Spanish (it's only offered in English or French in Canada). Any ideas on what he could do? Because of visa issues, he cannot easily go back to the U.S. to complete GED in Spanish.
That does help Edgar. Thank you!edgarsitow said:Never heard of Bachillerato or Preparatoria online programs for Mexico. We have a Ceneval, which is an exam based on everything taught in High school. My parents were taking English classes provided for free by the Ontario government and they also had other (optional) classes that would count towards getting an Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Not sure if that helps.
It opens at 2pm as far as I know.tsjunx said:hi everyone...

Call them. I believe that although online it says they start in the afternoon they also offer the service in the morning (since they moved).tsjunx said:hi everyone...

Yay!!tsjunx said:Update...
The SSP/PGR are at the embassy as of 15 mins ago yay!! My wife had time to drop it off in person, she was able to get the SSP early this morning so they do offer the service before 2pm.
Now the waiting begins for PPR, hopefully!!
You could send them a case specific enquiry to let them know and send them a courier account number (you can sign up online) or send them a letter with a pre-paid waybill for them to use to resend it with.taschj said:Hi everybody,
Small question:
How do i do to advize that i still haven't received letter they sent in the mail to obtain the PGR... ?
It's now over a month... and still received nothing...
tks !!!
My husband took the exam in mexico to get his highschool. I tried to get to get the equivalence here into an Ontario secondary school diploma but they wouldn’t accept it. They will only transfer the high school education if it’s done the normal/traditional way of attending regular highschool not just witting the exam. Does your husband need it for his job?Americana In T.O. said:Hello good people! I just wanted to give another update. My hubby found a job on his 4th day here in Canada!
