Hotels in Polanco would be the area to look for, however, they can be expensive. For example, there is a hotel row that you could look at with a W, Marriott, Intercontinental, and Nikko Hotels that are all next to each other and minutes away in a cab so the convenience can't be beat.

Is there something specific you are looking for?

The hotel row on Campos Eliseos I mentioned is less than 5 min drive from the Embassy and less than 10 mins from the VO location (a few streets over)...at least with no gridlock.

Check out Google Maps to see the details - at least, that would give me comfort . For the VO, select the Sanatorio Español which is next door.

I have a question

If we go to Canada but then have to come back to Mexico like a few days later....can my husband travel back to Canada later? because he won´t have his PR card yet.. Or can he without the PR card and just use the COPR?

Or would he have to wait till they mail the PR card to my parent´s house in Canada and then get them to send that to us in Mexico?

We were told that he could travel with his passport and COPR. But I would confirm that!

Well according to my DHL tracking number our pgr letter has been with the delivery courier since 10am this morning and its 5pm now
And we still haven't received it
I'm thinking its not coming today.. I even put our aprt number on our door to make sure he gets the right number...
looks like were gunna have to pick it up from the dhl office I suppose... :-\

I have gotten stuff delivered by DHL in Mexico as late as 8pm! There is still time! Or it might come tomorrow.

is a brown envelope with my husbands name on it and file number/barcodes. the brown envelope is sealed

am I allowed to open it, or do i leave it sealed and give it to the pgr like that ??

OMG I FEEL sooo excited!!!

i opened it! and its request for PGR!! im like shaking with excitement!!!



and also the envelope had the canada sign with the little canada flag at the end, and that just put a huge smile on my face seeing that picture!!

yay!! another step closer!, my husbands is gunna go get the pgr tomorrow or monday! but im gunna beg him to go tomorrow lol!
