No, they are currently living in Mexico, I actually talk to my aunt and she assured me that the work visa for my uncle was never sent because his employer is afraid of the back fire from the President! so no rejection of visa. I only thought it was rejected because those were my moms words and its completely different than what my aunt told me. My aunt has never visited the US or any other country actually this is gonna be the first time she will travel. However they did apply for the visitor visa to the US and that got rejected, the reason was because they could not prove enough ties from Mexico, they say they had all the documents for proof but that the agent refuse to see them and that they had very little time to prove they will go back to Mexico.Sneakydriver said:Is your aunt coming from the US? if she is, what is her status in the US? also is her husband legally in the US? since you said his work visa was rejected when he went to renew it. I cross the USA/Canada border often and they will verify they both can legally go back to the states and not as Tourists.
Now if they are coming from their countries, I will assume is a country from Latin america, I think they can come when the baby is close to born and they can say they are visiting you to be there with you when the baby is born but they should not tell the border officer it's for a long term. Actually, they should have something linking them back to their place of residence (even if it's a return plane ticket...). 1 month visit sounds good.
At this point i am confuse about saying that my pregnancy is one of the reason for them to visit me. Some say that mentioning the pregnancy will be a good chance for a rejection. I know this is mostly for Americans but i need to know about Canada. They will bring money for them to spend here (don't know how much) and will stay with me but do I have to show proof of income? and also i live by myself but in the CIC page (for the invitation letter) say i should say how many people live with me including all my dependent even those under ongoing sponsorship, but my husband is living in Mexico should i still include him?
I hope i am being clear with my answers and questions!
Thanks for reply to my post.
