Can't wait for the good news to start rolling in for us all. It makes the process a little easier when you have others going through it too.
I've already started my Dominican count down. 6 weeks and 3 days 8)

Hey guys, so my wife did the medical exams cic requested already, but I have a question.

Do we have to upload the file we were given at the clinic to CIC Or I just wait since they have the EMedical option where they send it right away?

I just did yes! It actually had instructions and everything to upload that exam on CIC. Now is just a matter of waiting for an AOR and I think medical exams are approved fast too, sooooooo *fingers crossed* :D

Hello Guys!

I don't know where to post this question but i will give a try in this Mexico thread.

I am pregnant and I live by myself in Canada. I am sponsoring my husband and we are afraid that he won't make it to my due date. However we are looking for my aunt to come and be with me at least 3 to 4 months close to the baby's birth. I don't know if i should include this in the eta application for my aunt, will immigration deny entry to my aunt if she comes to help me? like she is not getting paid she is just coming to make me company, I am thinking in get a doula for the delivery date because of the language, my aunt does not speak english, also she might bring her husband who was recently rejected with his work visa from the US, i don't know the reasons but I believed it was because of the new administration because he had been working for more that 5 years with the same employer in the US and with the work visa until this year when he wanted to renew it. So I don't know if all this factors will be a matter for them to come and visit. Does anyone have an advice?

Is your aunt coming from the US? if she is, what is her status in the US? also is her husband legally in the US? since you said his work visa was rejected when he went to renew it. I cross the USA/Canada border often and they will verify they both can legally go back to the states and not as Tourists.

Now if they are coming from their countries, I will assume is a country from Latin america, I think they can come when the baby is close to born and they can say they are visiting you to be there with you when the baby is born but they should not tell the border officer it's for a long term. Actually, they should have something linking them back to their place of residence (even if it's a return plane ticket...). 1 month visit sounds good.

hi there,

Can you please advise the name in Spanish of the so-called Bolivia Police Clearance Certificate? and if possible, please share image of that Certificate.

In response to CIC's request of Bolivia Police Clearance Certificate for my husband who used to live and worked in Bolivia for about 2 years, I got Bolivia Informe de Antecedentes Penales Certificate and submitted the original Doc with English Certified Translation to CIC. However, CIC got back today saying that "We received your Police Certificate from Bolivia, unfortunately it is the incorrect one"

I tried to google for the image of the Bolivia Police Clearance Certificate without any luck.

Appreciate your sharing on what exactly the Certificate name in Spanish or its image so we know where to start to get that CIC's meant Bolivia Police Clearance Certificate.

Thanks a lot for your attention and response.
Diana
