I have been waiting 6 months already. Hope the changes they are doing help to speed up the process and we can get faster the PR. I know we are all waiting to reunite with our families.CaroM8 said:Thank you! I hope so too... Especially for those who have been waiting a really long time.. We just started basically!
Yes! Thankfully I am able to live with my husband down here (Guatemala) while we wait!vzla177 said:I have been waiting 6 months already. Hope the changes they are doing help to speed up the process and we can get faster the PR. I know we are all waiting to reunite with our families.
It varies. With the ongoing changes, and with lack of proper updates/guidelines, all we could do is speculate at this point. I have seen some people get the PPR in few weeks. My suggestion would be to wait for few weeks, and see how things stay. Also, this is holiday time in Canada, and I would be surprised if VO's work at full efficiency.Capin said:Anyone please?
I agree with this. I have a few family members (including my father) who work at the government and most of them are not returning to work until January 3rd. I would assume it fairly similar in all branches of the government. That means little to no updates until then.nartcr said:It varies. rarely they do, and go that route. But there is nothing preventing them from doing so.shaffi.martinez said:Just a question in your experiences has MXVO contacted your reference checks (family and friends) to confirm or attest to your relationship? Thanks.
I don't think they do that...shaffi.martinez said:Just a question in your experiences has MXVO contacted your reference checks (family and friends) to confirm or attest to your relationship? Thanks.

PGR need to be translated by a valid translator and her certificate is necessary.Jalisse said:Happy new Year! Alright I'm starting to get a taste of Mexican headaches!
Question.....we got the PGR document today and then they tell us we need to go to
Mexico City to get the PGR validated and of course the PGR is only valid for 30 days.
I didn't know the PGR needed to be validated. Is this normal? Since i read many posts
Here and never came across this information. Thank you!
