Still waiting

6 months since medicals received.

So our medicals expired on October 8th, 2016....is there still a possibility that they will request new meds? I have seen others get the request before their meds have even expired...so I am just curious if it is still possible to get the request. We sent our PGR in August to Mexico City VO and have not heard anything since. Also is it possible to do the medical exam in Canada if they do request for my husband to re do his medicals? Thank you in advance.

I saw for another member - capin I guess - his medical expired on oct. in GCMS notes they had set to review sometime in Jan. They can extend the Medicals or even request at last stage. Stating that It is normal to ask medicals again once you clear security and criminality.

It's been one month since SA and file transfer to Mexico, and PA side on ECAS still says onyl "Application Received" ... no In Progress..

Is that still normal?

That's right. They will be creating gcms entries at this stage along with verification of documents, and you would see the status change in Ecas very soon.

Mexico sent back my husbands passport to El Salvador 8)
He should receive it next week!
It's been a long journey, I feel it that way.

In the entire process they never requested any proof of the relationship, only asked him to retake the Medical, and they made a decision couple of weeks after that.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish a speed process for all the applications...

It's been a long journey, I feel it that way.

In the entire process they never requested any proof of the relationship, only asked him to retake the Medical, and they made a decision couple of weeks after that.

Well for us it is 34 days after SA and our status still has not changed to In Process... Hoping this week it will!

August - They requested updated sched A and Medical and nothing since.
