I have a potential problem with DHL. I signed up to receive an email notification when my wife and stepson's passports were delivered. Since my wife doesn't live in a town where any courier services are available, she used a local messenger guy to take the envelope with the passports in it to the DHL office in the capital of her state. We decided to use DHL because they ship to her town directly. On her own envelope, she wrote her mailing address as the from address and the embassy address as the to address, and she put our file number beside her name in the from address, and then had the messenger take it to DHL. According to the email notification from DHL, it has my wife's name only as the from address and the DHL office address in place of her address. Her file number isn't present. Also, the address of the embassy is missing some things, as well. See below:

We're worried that DHL removed my wife's original label showing her true return address and her file number. Clearly, that information isn't present from the DHL email notification as indicated above. The woman at DHL who my wife spoke to about this claims that she (the woman at DHL) sent the passports exactly as they were addressed on the envelope. She said they removed the label my wife made from the original envelope my wife used and pasted it on a DHL envelope. So, clearly they didn't use my wife's original envelope. They took everything and put it in a DHL envelope. Regarding the DHL address in Hermosillo that appears instead of my wife's true mailing address, the woman from DHL said they did this because that's the address they used since that is the address of the DHL branch where the envelope was sent from. Is it standard procedure for DHL to use both the original customer label and a computer-generated label on the same envelope? Also, as I said, my wife included her file number on the original label, and as you can see, it isn't there on the information from the DHL shipment notification. Should we be worried?
