I am so glad to hear that you were able to get the fingerprinting done and request the Constancia quickly and without any problem. I have been looking for information on what to expect for the process to be ready when my letter arrives.

I saw this blog http://mexiquebecoise.blogspot.com/2011/01/pgr-antecedentes-registrales.html and was wondering if this is the same as the experience you had and if one still has to go to 2 separate buildings in Mexico for the process. I was also wondering if you paid the fee with the SAT5 form before you went to Mexico City.

For thos people IN Canada that have applied outland, have you been asked to send the Informe or the Constancia?

@ Huron, that is correct, I went to Mexico City last monday and at the first building they only receive your documments and they ask you to call them in about a week after to check the status of your letter and they send you to a different place "servicios periciales" to take your fingerprints wich was like 20min on a taxi and cost me 35 pesos, you can also take "metro" and a "micro" to get there tho.

after send this letter ( antecedentes registrales) what is the next step anybody knows?? because i will get it in 10 days

Quite simply the next step is to turn in the Antecedents to the Embassy and then wait.....

Maybe they will require more information or documents from you or maybe they will send you a passport request.... Every case is different but the one thing they all have in common is that wait is not over yet.

Hello Yaz , I noticed from another thread that you have not done your medicals yet so that will be one of the required steps for you.

For information on the medial please refer to the application package and the regional information for Latin America. All of the information is there.

In addition has your sponsor been approved and have you received an AOR?

When you say “letter ( antecedentes registrales)” are you referring to the federal police report from PGR in Mexico city or the individual police reports done by all of the different states that you have lived in for more than 6 months? One usually requires both federal and state police reports unless one has only lived in the DF, and then only the federal report is necessary.

my sponsor has been aproved but i dont understand what is AOR meaning could you explain me?
and about medical i will check the website because in few days i will go to Mexico city to pick up the letter (antecedentes registrales ) and i can do my medicals there, but i dont understand this doctor is gonna send these documents to Missisauga or to Mexico city do you know about it?? it is not clear!!

The AOR is the Acknowledgement of receipt that the Embassy sent you with the letter to get your Federal Police report or Constancia de Antecedentes Penales

You and all your family members who are not already Canadian citizens or permanent residents must fill out Appendix C and undergo and pass a medical examination, whether they will be joining you in Canada or not. Make enough photocopies of Appendix C for your needs before you start filling the boxes.

For complete instructions about your medical examination and how to find a Designated Medical Practitioner (DMP), read the Medical Instructions section in IMM 3999, Part 2: The Immigrant's Guide.
