It was good! and very easy!,
He said it was standard the way you enter any country, than when they took him to the separate immigration room, there were some office admin people he dealt with. They just asked him the standard questions, if he has been in Canada before, they asked him for the ARC, asked him to confirm all his information is correct, stamped his B4, made some photocopies, cancelled his visa and sent him on his way.
They didn't give him any info on his rights as a PR or how to get health care or SIN though.
I have heard sometimes they will give you info about this or brochures and sometimes they wont, depends on the person helping you.
but other than that it was very quick and easy and they were friendly for the most part.
